أشاد محمد صلاح مدرب الزمالك الأسبق، بأداء لاعبي القلعة البيضاء خلال الفترة الماضية وخاصة أمام فيوتشر، في مباراة الأمس بالدوري، مشددًا على أن الفريق أصبح يملك روحًا مميزة.

واستطاع الزمالك تحقيق فوز صعب مساء أمس على حساب فيوتشر بهدف وحيد، خلال المواجهة التي أقيمت ضمن منافسات الجولة السابعة والعشرين من الدوري المصري.

وقال محمد صلاح في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر قناة المحور: “منذ فترة وتحديدا بعد عودة مجلس مرتضى منصور، الزمالك يجيد الفوز حتى لو كان فنيا ليس في أفضل أحواله”.

وتابع: “هناك روح بين لاعبي الزمالك، وتشعر بأن الثقة عادت، وحصل (كوكتيل) في الزمالك بين اللاعبين الشباب والخبرة”.

وأردف: “البعض يتحدث أن شيكابالا (وشه وحش) والزمالك لا يحصل على بطولات في وجوده، شيكابالا خلال العامين الماضيين الزمالك حقق عدة ألقاب في ظل تواجده واللاعب نضج بشكل كبير”.

وأكمل: “شيكابالا كان له دور قيادي منذ سنوات عديدة في الزمالك لكن لا أحد يرى ذلك أو يتحدث عنه”.

وأوضح: “تصريحات فيريرا بأن الزمالك لا يملك لاعبا مثل أشرف بن شرقي، هي صحيحة ولكني كنت أود ألا يذكر ذلك بشكل صريح”.

وأردف: “بن شرقي لاعب مهم ومؤثر ولكن هناك لاعبين قادرين على تعويضه في الزمالك”.

When he came back in Perth he had match figures of 1 for 204 and the selectors judged him unable to contain.”It didn’t even cross my mind through the [first Test] that I was going to be dropped,” Krejza said in the Sunday Telegraph. “I don’t think I bowled that bad at all. The reports I got from people were that I actually did quite a good job.”

Leeds United could be set for a huge boost as news emerges from Thorp Arch about Kalvin Phillips’ future at the club.

What’s the story?

According to recent reports, Marcelo Bielsa’s side have opened preliminary talks over a new contract with their star midfielder, and it now appears that Phillips himself is keen to stay put in Yorkshire.

Football Insider claim that “a source with knowledge of Phillips’ situation” has indicated “the player is very keen on signing an extension with the club he has spent his entire career.”

It’s added that “Leeds want to tie down their academy product to a new and improved contract that would keep him beyond the summer of 2024.”

Fans will be buzzing

The England international has emerged as one of the country’s standout performers, even being named by BT as the men’s senior player of the year for the Three Lions.

That has come off the back of a truly remarkable few years for Phillips, particularly since Bielsa arrived at Elland Road, and former Leeds man Danny Mills has suggested that his rise could see some of the big clubs come calling.

He said: “The more and more that he’s involved with England, he’s going to start to hear what other clubs do. His head will be turned and rightly so by players saying ‘We’re playing against Real Madrid’ ‘We’re playing against PSG’ ‘We’re playing against Barcelona’.

“Undoubtedly there will be a part of him thinking ‘I want a part of that, I want to test myself against the best’. If Leeds progress and make it that way, then brilliant. But it’s the second season in the Premier League so you’re going to have to be more realistic than that.

“Another good season this year and there will be some very, very serious offers that come in for Kalvin Phillips.”

Last season saw the Whites struggle without their midfield lynchpin, winning just two out of nine Premier League games that he missed (losing the other seven), and that saw Darren Bent speak about the importance of the England international to his club.

The former Sunderland striker said: “It is a unique role, and you think who else can they get in that position who can do the job effectively. The answer to that is no one. He’s that good of a player that it’s hard to replace him.”

So, the fact that Phillips sees his long-term future at Elland Road as contract talks get underway is sure to have fans absolutely buzzing.

كشفت صحيفة “سبورت” الكتالونية موقف جناح الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي برشلونة، ممفيس ديباي، من الرحيل والانتقال إلى صفوف توتنهام في الميركاتو الصيفي الحالي.

ويعد توتنهام أحد أبرز الفرق الراغبة في ضم ديباي من برشلونة قبل بداية الموسم المقبل، وعرض النادي الإنجليزي عرضًا شفهيًا بقيمة 18 مليون يورو.

لكن برشلونة يريد الحصول على 20 مليون يورو مقابل الموافقة على انتقاله الرسمي إلى توتنهام، وذلك في إطار المفاوضات الجارية بين الطرفين.

يريد ديباي الانتظار قليلًا والبحث عن نادٍ جديد للانتقال إليه في الميركاتو الصيفي الحالي، رغم نيته في البداية بالبقاء مع برشلونة، لكنه يتمنى إذا غادر أن يلتحق بنادٍ جديد قادر على الفوز بالألقاب.

لم يقدم توتنهام أي عرض رسمي بعد، ولكن المفاوضات كانت جارية مع برشلونة لجس نبضهم، ورأي اللاعب في الانتقال إلى النادي الإنجليزي.

Liverpool’s historical past and global commercial revenues have aided Jugen Klopp’s team to garner supporters from all corners of the world, although the Merseysiders’ status in that regard could soon be under threat.

Nielson believe that the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United will see the Red Devils take over top spot in their rankings by the end of the 2021/22 season.

When he arrived at Juventus in 2018, he brought a 15% increase in cumulative TV viewership, and it is expected he will do likewise at Old Trafford. Nielson suggests that the Portuguese’s arrival could bring in a further 60 million viewers to United’s league games over the season. [Liverpool Echo]

نجح نادي ضمك السعودي في حسم رابع صفقاته في فترة الانتقالات الصيفية 2022 مستغلًا هبوط النادي الأهلي.

وكان أهلي جدة هبط إلى دوري الدرجة الأولى “دوري يلو” للمرة الأولى في تاريخه بعدما احتل المركز الخامس عشر برصيد 32 نقطة بنهاية موسم 2021-2022 بجانب الحزم والفيصلي.

وأعلن ضمك برئاسة صالح أبو نخاع عن تعاقده مع عبدالله حسون، الظهير الأيمن لفريق الأهلي وذلك دون الكشف عن مدة التعاقد.

حسون البالغ من العمر 24 عاما، من خريجي قطاع الشباب في الأهلي وتم تصعيده للفريق الأول عام 2018 وشارك في 72 مباراة بقميص الفريق الجداوي وسجل 3 أهداف وقدم 3 تمريرات حاسمة.

ويعد حسون ثالث لاعب يغادر الأهلي بعد البرازيلي كارلوس إدواردو الذي انتقل إلى صفوف بوتافوجو البرازيلي، ومحمد مجرشي المنضم لصفوف الفيحاء.

وبات حسون رابع صفقات ضمك في فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الجارية وذلك عقب وصول الجزائري عبد القادر بدران، والهولندي آدم ماهر، وعبدالله هوساوي حارس المرمى.

وكان ضمك أنهى الموسم الماضي من دوري كأس الأمير محمد بن سلمان في المركز الخامس برصيد 44 نقطة للمرة الأولى في تاريخ الفريق الجنوبي وذلك تحت قيادة الكرواتي كريشمير ريزيتش.

That’s according to a report by The Star, who claim that Slavisa Jokanovic is hoping to have David McGoldrick available for selection for the visit of Peterborough United next weekend.

The report continues by stating that the 33-year-old missed the club’s 0-0 draw with Luton Town last week due to a back injury sustained in the build-up to the match, and he was not selected for Republic of Ireland as a result.

Considering just how poorly Jokanovic has seen his Blades side start their 2021/22 Championship campaign, with United picking up a mere two points over their opening five fixtures of the season, the fact that McGoldrick looks set to make a return for the club’s upcoming clash with Peterborough is sure to have left the 53-year-old manager buzzing.

While the 33-year-old is yet to find the back of the net over his four Championship appearances so far this season, the £1.35m-rated man proved last term that he is certainly capable of being the Blades’ main man up top.

These returns saw the striker earn a seasonal SofaScore match rating of 6.88, ranking him as the club’s second-best performer – as well as top goalscorer – in the top flight of English football.

As such, it would very much appear that, if Sheffield United are to finally kickstart their Championship campaign with a win against Darren Ferguson’s side next week, McGoldrick’s availability would provide their chances of doing so with a considerable boost – on the condition that the centre-forward can start to replicate his form from last season this time around.

She added 92 with Zoe Landry (38 not out) to take Malaysia to a tournament-high 144 at the Chiang Mai Gymkhana. A curious feature of the Malaysian innings was that all four dismissals were run-outs. Kuwait’s chase began poorly with Landry removing Alina D’ Silva off her first ball. Then Aishah struck thrice, including twice in successive overs, in a period of eight overs where Kuwait added only 15 runs. They limped to 62 in their 25 overs – captain Priyada Murali top scoring with 21 – helped on their way by 19 extras.It took Qatar 10.3 overs to overhaul Oman’s 64 for their first win of the ACC Under-19 women’s tournament at the Prem Oval in Thailand. Shruthi Srinivasan, Safa Patel and Nahan Arif took three wickets each to bowl out Oman in 21.1 overs after which the Qatar openers set up the win with a 35-run stand. Srinivasan gave them the early breakthroughs with a triple-strike that reduced Oman to 16 for 3. They had barely recovered from that when Patel took two in two overs. Baluchistan nearly pulled off what would have been a fantastic win after following on and taking five wickets in Punjab’s chase of 76. Bad light stopped play 3.3 overs in to the chase at which point Punjab were at 17 for 5.At the start of day four, Baluchistan were struggling in their follow-on at 42 for 2. They soon slipped to 45 for 3 when Mohammad Talha had Zulfiqar Babar caught behind for a duck. It looked like Punjab would get their first win of the tournament by an innings when the first-innings top scorer Bilal Khilji fell for 13. But No. 6 Saeed Bin Nasir began a rescue effort with a fairly attacking innings; he scored 16 fours and two sixes in 150-ball 119. He added 45 with Saeed Anwar jnr and 106 with Kamran Hussain (52). But it was Hussain’s eight-wicket stand with Gulraiz Sadaf (48) that gave Baluchistan the lead.Punjab would have thought the match was sealed when they needed a little over four an over at the start of the chase. Even when they lost their first wicket with ten on the board, things looked upbeat. But then four wickets fell – Asad Ali took two in two balls – with the score at 17. The match at this point could have gone either way though Punjab may have chosen to be cautious rather than lose any more wickets. In the end bad light ended what would have been an exciting finish. Asad took 3 for 1 and and Hussain took 2 for 16.
